- Fun comes first. Always.
- Impact is everything. The player’s actions should make the world feel alive.
- Every object, place, system, and character should have a reason to exist.
- Tell stories because they deserve to be told, not to lecture.
- Respect the player. Don’t argue with them. Don’t waste their time.
- Most feedback is useful. Not all feedback is a task.
- Texture makes things feel alive: handheld camera, rough edges, movement, imperfection.
- Enjoy the process. This will never happen again.
